Why I Skateboard Stories

The first time I was exposed to “the strange board on wheels” was the day my brother brought one of his friend's boards home. What actually inspired me to ride the board were my brother's feeble attempts to ollie or jump on the board. Ever since that moment I've always tried to one up him and ended up loving the feeling of nailing that new trick. The hard work put into it is worth the results. Ever since I landed that first new trick, it seems as though I'm not doing much of the work anymore. It's almost as though the board is a part of me, a new limb grown to fit perfectly on my feet. So as long as there are new tricks out there, you'll find me somewhere with my board at my feet.
