Why I Skateboard Stories

Bethel, ME age 15 I started skateboarding in the fall of 2007. I had never really done it before and I was hanging out with two of my friends who skated. They decided to go skate so I went along and soon they had me dropping in. After that I started to go to Bean's house to skate his mini ramp in his garage. I would use his extra skateboard and pads until I decided I really liked it and wanted to get my own board. I then skated all of that fall and winter and started on the school skateboard team the next spring. I enjoy skateboarding because it is a very challenging sport that evolves through you and you do not have to rely on other people. You can do it almost anywhere and it is very easy to be creative. You can develop a completely different style than anyone else and do tricks in different ways. I hope to skate for as long as I can.
