Why I Skateboard Stories

I started skateboarding when I was in 8th grade because one of my friends was skateboarding. When I was in 8th grade my friend came to my house and started skateboarding in front of my home. He jumped so high and did many flip tricks. A few minutes later there were many people around him. I thought that was cool and amazing. Also, it really looked interesting to me. So, one day I bought a skateboard and I went skateboarding with him. When we arrived at the skatepark there were lots of good skaters and my friend knew most of them. So, I thought it was good to be a part of this skate community. Also, most skaters are kind and friendly.

However, the most impressive thing was when I went skateboarding with other friends. We didn't have a board for everyone, so we were sharing two boards between three skaters. A few minutes later one guy asked us, “Do you want to borrow my skateboard?” And he lent us his skateboard. When we tried to go home, I gave back his skateboard, but he said, “You can have it.” He gave me his board. Later, I found out the guy was a pro skateboarder in Japan and he was famous. After that I started skateboarding as a real sport.
