Why I Skateboard Stories

I was about 10 years old when I actually started skateboarding. I started out as a Rollerblade, then my best friend started skateboarding, so I followed. I had such a great time skateboarding, but I couldn't stop roller blading. I always switched from one to the other year after year, until one day I was roller blading and I got into a collision. I was knocked out and had a concussion. I was brought to the hospital, brought back home, and the next day I said to myself, “That's it for roller blading!” I have been skateboarding ever since, progressing and becoming a better skater. What keeps me progressing is my peers and my friends. I have skateboard idols, such as Mike Mo Capaldi, who are absolutely amazing. These people, along with new tricks, keep me skating and progressing to become the very best that I can be.
